Step 1   Registration

  • Register on-line. Cost $50
  • Participates must include a primary email and phone number.
  • By providing an updated email and phone; we will be able to contact you.


Step 2   Do we need to attend all the tryouts for our age group?

  • We recommend attendance at all tryouts. This will allow the most exposure to the evaluators during the tryout process. 

Step 3   Check-in at tryouts

  • You must check-in at tryouts
  • Receive T-shirts at this time.
  • Receive Age group overview at this time.
  • Verify if your email and phone correct; we will be able to contact you after tryouts.

Step 4   Tryout Process

  • The tryout process will span between 1-3 dates, depending on age group.
  • We recommend families discuss all your players’ options during the evaluation process. It is good to start dialogue in regards to options in case your player does not get chosen for the team the would like to be part of.

Step 5   Invite to join the MN Thunder Academy

  • Tryout invites will be sent via email within 2 days after tryouts.
  • When the email is sent we will require a “Yes” or “No” by noon the next day.

Step 6   Acceptance to join the MN Thunder Academy

  • Once a team is formed we will post on the tryout results page.
  • An email will be sent with Registration and the 1st team meeting information

Step 7   Enjoy your long deserved break from summer soccer.
