Welcome to recreational soccer, Minnesota Thunder Academy style! The ultimate goal of our program is simple - help young players build a love for the game of soccer! We offer 3 recreational programs; DinoMites, Early ID, ThunderREC.
DinoMites Program (4,5,6 year olds)
A Memorable Introduction to the Game of Soccer
Remember when you were 5? Life was about play, fun and making friends. The Dinomites program brings that same spirit of fun and adventure to the entire family and establishes a soccer experience that lasts a lifetime. This program is the first in a series of three educational soccer programs that support the growth and development of players at the younger age levels. This age specific program, is a step by step interactive development guide for youth soccer organizations that run U4, U5, and U6 programs. The curriculum is based around the adventures of Dino and his sister Deana and there are three principles that act as its foundation;

- Play

Early ID Program (6,7,8 year olds)
Building Your Soccer Skills in a Fun Environment
The Early ID program features skills training by professional coaches in a challenging and enjoyable environment. The Early ID program runs in the fall, winter and summer.
The goal of this program is to:
1) Give the players a solid skills foundation
2) Identify future Academy players
3) Help to build a love for the game of soccer.
The Early ID Program Set Up:
30 minutes of skills training with a professional soccer trainer
30 minutes of 3v3/4v4 small sided games to ensure maximum touches of the ball
Each player receives an official Early ID Training Shirt.
Winter 2011/2012 - Saturday Mornings
Session I - December 3, 2011 - January 14, 2012, 9:00-10:00am (5 sessions) - $50
*No sessions on Dec. 24, 31.
Session II - January 21, 2012 - February 18, 2012, 9:00-10:00am (5 sessions) - $50
Session III - February 25, 2012 - March 31, 2012, 10:00-11:00am (6 sessions) - $60
All session will be held at the Plymouth Creek Center Dome (14800 34th Ave N, Plymouth).

ThunderREC (6,7,8 year olds)
Experiencing the Game
Experience the game in a fun environment with friend and teammates. ThunderREC is the recreational league of the Minnesota Thunder Academy where teams are formed and compete against other ThunderREC teams. ThunderREC runs in the summer only and games are located in the communities of New Hope and Plymouth.
Open to all interested players ages 6 to 8. The U8 program is single sex program for boys and girls ages 6, 7, and 8.
